Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo. Is that a sentence? I don't get any at all. All I know for sure is that the second word and the seventh word are the city Buffalo. The first word might also be but all sentences start with a capital. I don't get it but I think it's interesting. Today, in PE, we learned about hand-eye coordination stuff. To be honest, it's not that fun because we're playing dodge ball because it uses a lot of hand-eye coordination skills. "Never turn your back on your enemy," said our PE coach. Haha....Today's a fun day because it's the first day from break and it's also the day where a lot of things happen. Willis came out of ESL so now, he have all the classes with us! Also, there are two new students, Peter Lee, and Leann Yu. So, our class now have 13 people. It's interesting. Life is interesting. Buffalo are interesting!!!! Not really....

Chinese New Year's over and I'm glad it's over because school will be starting again. However, I'm also sad that it's over because I enjoyed my break. I spent most of my break at my grandparent's which is located at Tainan.
So, this is my break: My whole family including my parents, my brothers and me, went back to Tainan on Saturday. We arrived at 9 in the morning since there's no traffic at all. On the car ride, my brother's turtle came out of it's temporary cage and it's roaming free inside the car. Later, I spotted it and my brother picked it up and changed containers after we've arrived. Then, I spend my time there, exploring the yard once more, play soccer, roller blade and ride the bike around the yard, and of course, play piano and violin. There is a piano there as well...The weather is awfully nice, much warmer than Hsinchu. Then at night, I played poker cards, Bridge to be specific, with my family. Then, we watched a movie and the day ended like that. The next day, I spent the morning practicing piano and violin so I can have a free afternoon. After lunch, my mother decided to go shopping and my brothers and I decided to go with her. We bought some clothing for my brothers and me as well as my grandmother. When we came back from shopping, my father told us three kids to go into the yard and saw some trees that are leaning against the wall because if the tree grew bigger, the wall would collapse. The sawing was fun! After sawing the trees, my father use some spare parts to make a walking stick for my grandparent and my oldest brother picked a Y shaped branch to make a slingshot and Ben picked a really straight and thick but short stick. I looked at it and thought that it would make a good baseball bat even though it's a bit too heavy and we played baseball with that for some time. That's the special parts on Sunday. Then, on Monday, my family not including my grandparents went to the graveyard to clean the tombs and stuff. I like going there to clean. I enjoyed it the most last last year. Every year, when we clean the tombs, we need to burn the paper and last last year, the fire is so huge since the grass is very very dry, that the firetruck came. Pretty interesting but also very dangerous! Cleaning the tomb part is the most exciting thing on Monday otherwise, it's a normal Tainan day. On Tuesday, my family on my father's side including me, my brothers, my parents, my grandparents, my father's three sisters and their husbands and their children (6 children in total) went and ate lunch together. It's pretty interesting and I get red envelops even though I usually give it to my parents. We had fun all together. At night, my grandparents and my family went back home and my brothers decided to run around the yard for some time. I joined them. I ran for a short time and I can't do it anymore. I'm too tired. I can't keep running for long distances. My brothers ran for 15 minutes!...The next day is Wednesday. On Wednesday, nothing much happened. In the afternoon, my parents, my brothers and me went to the tempo where we prayed a little and then, my brothers played basketball while I roller blade around the court. At night, Ben and I decided to run again. This time, I ran for 3 minutes (I remembered to measure the time). And in those 3 minutes, I ran 12 laps. And by the way, each lap around the yard is 64 meters. My brother set a goal of 50 laps and he ran for 16 minutes. I am such a goalless person. Haha. When I set a goal that's out of my limit but I'm trying to achieve it, I mostly won't get succeed in achieving the goal. However, my brother will. *Sigh...Then, we watched a movie like every day else. On Thursday, my brother had to go to an interview in some place near Kaoshung. So, my whole family went to Kaoshung and we had fun there. We went to a market and bought a lot of seafood stuff. It's fun. We came back at about 5 or 6 and I decided to run again. However, this time, there's only me. I achieved my best score of 14 laps in 4 minutes. Which means that I ran 896 meters in 4 minutes. I don't know whether that's good or not but I know that I'm exhausted. Then, on Friday, it's time to head back home. We spent the time packing until lunch which we ate there, and we drove home.
Life back home in Hsinchu is again, boring...because there's no surprises. Haha...It's the same old everyday schedule....Well, now that school's about to start, I'm happy but also sad that break's over but mostly, I am happy because I had a good break.

Chinese New Year is really coming fast! Awesome! However, on Friday, after school, I am going to have violin class and then class. *Sigh. But after that, I would be a free free bird. Today, Ms.Liu gave us back our science test scores. There are three people who have the same highest score and one of the people are me! I am so happy. But then, we took the English test. I am not sure for a lot of questions but I hope I did fine on the test and that it wouldn't lower my grade down by too much. Then, there's the Expository Writing Final. I didn't do so well on that and that's for sure. However, tomorrow is the last day of school before Chinese New Year and I am super excited. Happy Chinese New Year~~~HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

January 18, 2012
It is so annoying when people compare you to other people especially when the person they are comparing you with is one of your siblings. It is completely annoying! It is even more annoying when your siblings are just awesome at things. It makes you feel as if you suck at everything. *Sigh...If you have an sister or brother, older or younger than you doesn't matter, that excels at everything and then there's you...it seems as if you suck at everything because people compare you together. Well, nevermind that. Today is Howard's birthday so happy birthday Howard. Today, I had my science midterm. I can't wait for all the other grades to come out but for now, most grades are not out so it leaves a feeling inside me unsettled. However, if all the grades are out and settled, the weird feeling inside me will be settled.

The week's half way through! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Today, we had history class and history test. I felt as if I failed. It's so hard. The tests are almost all over but now, there's a whole bunch of homework that is going to due recently. There's english homework, there's math homework, there's science homework, and there's this journal to type! Just kidding. Oh. there's public speaking homework that's really troubling me because the homework is so annoying. We have to find a famous speech and copy it. But the speeches on the internet are so boring in my opinion. I hope I can find one that is interesting enough. Got to go eat. Bye Journal. It's so weird...I normally don't talk to my journal. lol...okay..bye...

This week will be such a busy week. Today, all the Spanish 1 people took the Spanish Final test. I think I tried my best and now, I am just waiting for my test result to come out. In the meanwhile, I would need to prepare myself for the up coming tests. For example, tomorrow, there's the Fitness test for PE and the History test final. Out of all the midterms, I am most worried about my History grade. Why history? Well, because, I never was too fond of history and I suck at history. Also, in most of the other tests, I know that I prepared and tried my best. But for history, I dislike it, so I know that I won't study as hard as other subjects even though I tend to try to. History is just boring for me. Sigh...either than history, all the finals for the other subjects are okay. By okay, I mean that I'm fine with studying a long time for those subjects and if I do poorly at it, I will feel that I should just try harder next time since this time, I studied really hard. However, it's another case for History. Also, I realized that our math final grades are out on Veracross. The test brought my number grade down but it didn't bring a whole letter grade down or anything like that. But I did think I could do better on that.

January 15, 2012
Today is a Sunday and I just came back from Tainan. My family went to Tainan because we have to vote there and we also went to Chai-Yi to pick up my oldest brother since he's on break now and Ben also have an interview with someone from a University. Well, I tried very hard to study there but I just couldn't focus. I would sit down and than stand up and head outside to play soccer or throw a tennis ball against the wall over and over again or I would ride the bike around the yard. Then, I would head into the house to study and then, I will come out again. I just couldn't focus. Now, I am at home and thinking back at the time where I spend my time playing without studying, I feel so sad. I should be studying. Now, I have a stack of books waiting for me to study. However, I don't think I regret not studying. I just feel sad for not studying. I wished I could be studying but I know that I would prefer to be playing and I played and I had fun and I am happy. So I'm not regretful for the decision I made even though I feel sad for it. It seems weird doesn't it?
On Monday, we have Computer and Spanish Test. On Tuesday, we have History test and PE test. On Wednesday, we have Science test. On Thursday, we have English test. On Friday, we have no test!!!!!!!!!!! (according to my memory) and then....THERE"S CHINESE NEW YEAR!~~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~

January 12, 2012
Today, I am really, very, glad that the weather is good and that it's not raining because when the weather is nice and not raining, people in sports club get to go upstairs and really exercise, compared to staying indoors and watching a movie. Well, today, I had a lot of fun. At first, Willis, Samuel, Kevin Kao and I played soccer. Kevin and I are a team versus Willis and Samuel. We played until the score is 4 to 3 with Samuel and Willis in lead. Then, we took a time out break because the game have no goalie, super less people, and there's no out! Which means that we have to run a lot, especially if one of your teammates doesn't play soccer. Well, we took a break. Then, we asked Sean whether he wants to play soccer and he agreed. At first, he was practicing basketball but then he joined us. Sean joined the whoever looser team. For example, Samuel and Willis is in lead so Sean will join our team when the points are tied, Sean stays at the previous team, my team. However, when we are in the lead, Sean goes to Samuel and Willis' team. Well, later, we changed it. My team is me and Sam. Sean's team is Sean and Willis. As for Kevin Kao, he joined the whoever loosing team. Well, Kevin stayed on my team all through the game because the score never went tied or went over the other team. Playing soccer is the fun part. However, during the game, there's something really funny we talked about and it's so funny. For example, Samuel is running in front of Sean, trying to block his path to the goal, and while standing in front of Sean, Samuel kept saying "Pressure, Pressure, Pressure, Pressure," hoping to give him pressure. Well, Sean started laughing and soon, the rest of us started laughing. There's also other funny points.

I really hope it doesn't rain tomorrow. I am really looking forward to clubs tomorrow and I really don't want to miss clubs. If it's raining, we are going to stay indoors watching movies again (which sucks especially when we are rewatching movies that we have already watched). One reason that I am looking forwards to tomorrow's club because it is one of the last club times before the next semester which I am going to the orchestra club for the High School Musical. I hope the weather doesn't destroy everything, anything...Also, I hope it doesn't rain on Friday because we are having a final for soccer on that day. I am also looking forward to the weekends because I get to go back to Tainan with my family. And after this weekend, it's the finals week. We have so much finals. On this Friday, we have math final. On Monday, we have Computer Final and Spanish Final. On Tuesday, we have English Final, PE test, and History Final. On Wednesday, we have Science Final. And after that, everything is coming and going easily. But there's also some finals that I didn't type out. I just hope everything turns out well.

January 10, 2012
Today, I checked Veracross and I seems to sense a feeling that my Spanish Grade went down by number but not by the letter grade and so, I clicked inside. Once I entered the grade stuff, I realized that my test score from Monday is out. It sucked. It got a 60 something. Even though my test brought my grade down, I am glad that my other grades are pretty high. By other grades, I mean by Oral and Participation grade. Without those grades, I probably will be failing that class. Also, today we had PE. It was awesome! Even though it's awesome, I am exausted. My legs hurt after PE. So tired..but without counting the tirdness part, that was an awesome game! We won and the score is two to one. Howard, me, Willis, Clement, Lucy, Alice, and Darren are together as one team and the rest of the people are the other team. We won two points. I scored one point from the assistance from the other team players but mostly Clement from that goal. He passed to me and I kicked the ball in! The other point is where one of the other team players tripped me by accident. I think it's alright but Mr.Li said it's a fowl so we get a free kick into the goal with one goaly blocking it. Well, Howard kicked it in. They earned one point from us by an assistant from our team, Willis Wang. The ball went over to Willis and he sort of kicked it and instead of going forward, the ball went backwards into the goal. However, good game team! Great work Willis, Darren, Alice, Lucy, Howard, Clement and me!!!!!!!1

I hate the internet. My google chrome stopped working and now I'm using Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is so...annoying...Also, today, I got my computer test score back. It's much better than what I thought it would be but I'm still kind of dissapointed. And then, there's the Spanish test we took this afternoon. It sucked completely. Well, actucally, I suck because I didn't study at all the previous nights. I wsas busy working on the Science Fair stuff. It is so annoying. Also, I realized that I had a late homework due from expository writing. I better hand it in as soon as possible. Never the less, today is such a grumpy day. First is the Science Test. I think I did pretty awesome but I'm kind of dissapointed. Then, there's the Spanish Test which I know I wouldn't do good on but I still tried to study. And then, there's the ex pository writing homework of the movie notes that I'm trying to find in my folder but so far, no luck. I would just need a bit of luck and I would find it....Today is such a grumpy day for me...

January 8, 2012
Today, for lunch, I went with my whole family not counting my oldest brother to a restaurant where we get to eat with all the other people working at my mom's office but most are my relatives. My family on my mother's side are nearly all music related people. For example, my uncle (my mother's brother) works at my mom's office as well and he plays the violin. His son, (my cousin) teaches violin and piano there as well. My mom teaches piano. My mother's brother's daughter teaches flute, recorder, and piano. So basically, it's all music related. Well, I am excited that next week would come fast and would end slowly. I am excited about next week's weekends because I am going down to Tainan. My mom and dad is going down to vote for the president and Ben is going down to Tainan because he have the Princeton interview stuff. I'm going down to Tainan because all of them are! Basically, I'm going down to play. But after this week, we would be going down again because it's Chinese New Year!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome~. I hate science. I have no topic and the first draft is due tomorrow. I will come up with something. (hope so.) Also, I finished reading a book this weekend. The book pile is really going down. Awesome. The book I finished is George's Cosmic Treasure Hunt by Stephen Hawking. I am going to be working on The Fellowship Of The Ring. Awesome.

I am glad about these days because for piano, my mom allows me to play a piece written by Scott Joplin. Scott Joplin is unlike all the other piano pieces made by other composers such as Mozart, Schumann, Chopin, or Beethoven. Scott Joplin's song is more happy and cheerful. Well, it's probably because of where he's from. Most of the composers are from the Europe area. However, Scott Joplin is from America. It is interesting...
As for today, I am so glad it's a Thursday because it means that I would have clubs and I enjoy exercising. However, it's raining!!! It sucked totally. When we don't have clubs, it gives me a huge shinny day and when we have clubs, it give me a super raining day. Not only that, when it's raining, it causes a lot of traffic on Kuang-Fo Road. Me, Ben, Amanda, and Tiffany (we carpool) nearly got late. I really disagree with that rule. Sometimes, it's just luck about being late or not. Out of three month, I might be late for about one or two times even though we leave our house at the same time. Sometimes, there's just a bit more car. Normally, we arrive at school 7:45 so there's 10 minute spare. However, with some bad luck and traffic, we will be late! **Sigh***

Today is January 4 of my journal and while I take a look, I realized that there's no January 3. By that, I realized that I didn't post my journal yesterday. Well, it doesn't really matter because yesterday, I wasn't really in the good mood side to type in my journal and even if I did, I wouldn't take about what is affecting my mood. I'm being mysterious... :P.......Plus, not posting for once stills allow me to have three chances until I strike out. Never mind about the part I didn't post my journal. Today, my whole class took a science test. The science test is not that hard but I realize that I've got the first question wrong and if one question is wrong, two will be wrong. Sigh....I hope it would be good. My science scores are pretty good so far but I"m not too sure about this time. I hope it's good. Also, I took a shot yesterday. And.....there's more information, some about all kind of things.

January 2, 2012
While typing through today's journal, I realized that I made a mistake by typing January 1, 2011 from yesterday. Today, after being sick for two days, I finally went to the doctor where the doctor check on me and checked whether anything's wrong with me. Well, the doctor gave me some medicines and I feel like throwing up already. When I hear the word medicine, creepy feeling always come into my feeling. When I see medicine, hear the word medicine, taste medicine, smell medicine, and even think about medicine, I feel like throwing up!!! And not only that...For example, when I drink and eat medicine out from a cup and after a couple of days, I'm well again. Then, when I take a sip out of that cup with the same water temperature, I feel like I'm eating medicine again! I don't know whether it's for all people or only me but yep, that's how I feel. It's disgusting, nasty, and horrible! I hope I get well soon and never ever get sick again so I wouldn't have to eat any medicine!!!

January 1, 2011
I can't believe that it's January already and that my Winter Break had past. I dislike Winter Break because it makes me feel bored. However, I like Chinese New Year Break even more than Winter Break even though it's shorter because of several reasons. For example, I can go and visit my grandparent's for at least five days and it's really awesome. Also, I can spend time with my friends at my mom's office since they are having their Break as well. It's really awesome. I can't wait till Chinese New Year Break. During the five days at my grandparent’s, I can do a lot of stuff. I can roam around the yard, race with my brothers, roller blade around the field, ride the bike around the field, eat ice cream, practice a bit less piano and violin than usual, play baseball, soccer, and a lot more sports, and have a lot of fun! Most of all, I am most excited about the idea of Andrea and her whole family coming to my grandparent's house and play. In one of the previous blog posts, I mentioned that the last time I went and visit my grandparent's, I met Andrea's cousin there and that her cousin's mother know my grandparents really well, so it won't be like strangers coming over to my grandparent's house. It will be not so strangers (haha).
Now, about my Winter Break, it was normal like usual. This is my daily schedule: Wake up, get driven to my mother's office by my mother, practice piano and violin each one hour while my mother is at the kindergarten teaching piano, then head over to the kindergarten to eat lunch at 11:50 about, after eating, I play a bit of soccer at the playgroud, then come back to my mom's office where I play a bit of computer game, then I practice one hour of violin, have a break, practice another hour of piano, read, have a break, then head home, eat supper, do a bit of school work and a bit of my mom's homework, then read, play computer, and have free time until bed time. That is my basic schedule. In those absolutely normal days, I found my pleasure by watching a first grade boy which is really tall. That boy is unlike most kids I realized. He laughs when the teachers yell at him. For example, during piano lessons with a whole other bunch of other first grader kids, he always keep roaming around the room eating. He loves to eat and would eat anything my mother will give him such as apple, banana and things most children wouldn’t want to eat. Never mind that, well, when my mother sees him roaming around, she would yell at her and the little boy would laugh a bit and head back to his room. He’s such a happy kid and during the break, I made friends with him. I taught him how to play Taiwan kind of Bingo and taught him some math homework of his and we played together. That’s something interesting unlike the usual.
As for the holidays, it's basically the same boringness. However, on one of the Saturdays, I went to climb a nearby mountain with my family not counting my oldest brother but including Andrea. It's pretty fun and enjoyable. There's a funny point and that's before we even start climbing the mountain, my dad had bought a stick, I have bought tops that could spin and Andrea bought another toy and my mom bought a hitting herself stick. It's so funny. Then, we climb to the top and we started eating. It seems as if we would be heavier climbing downhill then climbing uphill. haha. Well, I enjoyed that.
I am all fine with school starting except for a couple points. First, I would have less time playing an online game that I recently started playing. Second of all, there's that Science Fair stuff. I couldn't think of any topic and it's all so annoying. I started doing an experiment a month ago, having some idea that it would fail and it really did. So now, I have no idea what to do. Compared to those two points, there's a couple points that I do like about school starting and that is firstly, I can be waiting for Chinese New Year Break and my birthday, and the other point is just going to school. Having my Winter Break schedule for the same every year is getting bored so I'm glad to be going back to school. Another thing is that I read a couple of books during this Winter Break and I'm pretty glad about it because during the school year, I have a really high pile of books ready for me to read whenever I have time. But to tell the truth, I don't have much time during school days when I have to go to school, practice piano and violin, and finish my homework on time. So, I am glad I'm working on that pile. I've finished 6 books: The Son of Neptune, The Adventure of Tom Sawyer, Rufus M., two books from the LionBoy series The Chase and The Truth, and finally a book called The Same Stuff as Stars. Out of all those books, I liked most of them even though each one is different in a way. For example, The Same Stuff as Stars is such a sad story but on the other hand, Rufus M. is such a happy story. Now, I'm forward to reading other books on my pile such as The Fellowship of the Ring, The Cardturner by Louis Sachar, The Throne of Fire, and George's Cosmic Treasure Hunt (or something like that) by Stephen and Lucy Hawking. I'm also waiting for some books to get published. Well, that's about it for my Winter Break. I hope Chinese New Year Break can come early and end slowly. By the way, I feel sick. Yesterday, my throat hurt and my brother's kind of sick as well. Today, my throat hurts and my nose's all clogged up. I hope I don't get the flu that's going around people recently.
